Richie was born in Santiago de Los Caballeros and when he was 6 years old, he moved to Santurce, Puerto Rico. He started drawing at an early age and was noticed by his peers for his exceptional drawing ability. He attended Universdad Autonoma de Santo Domingo for Graphic Arts. He now lives in Carolina, Puerto Rico.

His main art mediums are painting, carving (coconuts and linocut), and digital art.

Julio was born in New York and when he was 10 years old, he learned how to take lithograph images by observation. In the 1970s, he got his own camera equipment and began photographing and stiching his own images (by using scotch tape to stitch the images together before later using technology to do it). 

His specialty is a panoramic style that creates an image that attempts to trick the eye.

He has traveled to over 104 countries and has taken photos in about 40% of those.
